Bechstein Model A, 1926
This Bechstein Model A stood in the same spot in Watsons Bay since 1932. The owner was really pleased to know that it was going to be restored.
Bechstein A 01 		It looks impeccable in the photo. Since then I've had it repolished, and I'm about to start reconditioning it. This will involve regilding the iron frame, restringing and renewing the action. In the last year the Renner Piano Parts company have reissued the original Bechstein style hammers.

A lovely Bechstein A1, from 1926. One owner until I bought it. Now that it's back from the french polisher, I'm looking forward to reconditioning its hammers and strings.
